The Toy Insider's Holiday of Play 2015 #HoliPlay

NY MOMSTYLE had the opportunity to attend The Toy Insider's Holiday of Play 2015.  The event took place at the Hearst Tower on Friday, October 16, 2015 from 11:30a.m. through 2:30 p.m.  I got to enjoy a gourmet lunch while checking views of New York City.  I got the chance to get close and personal with the hottest toys of the holiday season.  There were more than 15 top toy manufactures.  


 I had fun connecting with people, taking pictures and getting personal with brands.  Meet toy expert and Toy Insider Mom Laurie Schacht, she the one behind the website "The Toy Insider." She provides toy advice to parents, bloggers and also contributing editor at Woman’s Day magazine.  


It was a pleasure attending the #HoliPlay with Anita, QueensNYCMOM.  We had a fun time talking with bloggers, connecting with brands and I enjoyed the food.  Anita is my blogging bestie#BFFs.   

My all time favorite is "little red monster!"  I've enjoyed Elmo while growing up and my kids do too. #HoliPLAY #TIHot20 #alltimetoy.

Davin my 2 year old got the first pick on toys.  His first pick was the TOMY Spot Talking Plush.  He loves his toy.

    Hey Ashley Drewes,

    I like the VTech InnoTV for the kids. It an educational gaming system with a kid-friendly wireless controller. It introduces language arts, math, science and more.

    Sands Alive is going to be a must have, and with my son's love of trains the Lionel will be under the tree, too. This Insider's view is going to give me a head start on my shopping for the holidays!

    What a great networking event to be a part of! So many great toy brands to connect with. That one robot (I just forgot its name too) it reminds me of the robot from that 80s movie "Short Circuit".
